: Welcome Emily! Congratulations on
: your first day, and also on your
: new little one! :h4)

: Breakfast will certainly begin to
: help you feel better, but my BS
: issues didn't really even out
: until my Step 3. But I encourage
: you to take it slow; the steps
: work best that way.

: You didn't say what time breakfast
: was, so maybe you did need more
: food by 11 (or even before, since
: you were already feeling bad by
: then). If you are breastfeeding,
: you'll definitely need to take in
: more food than the rest of us. I'm
: not sure what those guidelines
: are, but someone else here can
: probably help you out with that.
: Or, there is a pregnancy &
: nursing group that you could join
: from here:

: Even if you are sleep-deprived (which
: is quite probable with a
: 4-week-old!) I think extra
: nutrition is always called for.

: What else do you think you might have
: for your protein source? Do you
: know how much you need for your
: body?

: Absolutely! Maybe not overnight, but
: stick with it, I promise you will
: start feeling better soon.

: Dodi

Thanks, Dodi! I am aiming for 30 grams of protein at breakfast. I can't do nuts- but this morning, I had three eggs and spinach, and a piece of whole grain bread with sunbutter. I was surprised to see that the bread had 5 g of protein- so I think I made my target. I can't do nuts, so am a little limited there. I will be a little more proactive in getting a snack in before lunch.
