High Protein Pancakes

Dear all,

I tried making the High Protein Pancakes for the first time today, but it was a bit of a hit-and-miss affair! Some came out thick, like American pancakes, while others came out thin, like British pancakes. Also, I couldn't quite figure out how to add the apple slices, so in the end some went into some of the pancakes, while others had none.

Has anyone else tried this recipe? Are these pancakes supposed to be thick or thin?

I'm asking so I know how they're supposed to look next time I try them. I even added a bit more milk because the mixture seemed a bit thick to me when I made the first one. I also found I had to oil the pan more than when making regular pancakes as it got very dry very quickly!

At the moment, I'm trying to eat softish foods as I had some dental work done, so I am staying away from anything hard, like toast, for example, which is why something like pancakes seems ideal.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can shed light on this, or has made this recipe more often than I have.
