If you are nursing your baby, you actually need snacks, and you don't need to eliminate them on step 1 anyway. Even if you aren't nursing, your body is recovering from a huge event, and snacks might not be a bad idea right now. So you can just concentrate on finding a breakfast that you like and that works for you.
I have my oats and protein powder in a shake, with some fruit and greek yogurt and almond milk. I think it's hard to get the technique right for mixing protein powder and oatmeal, although some people have figured it out. Do you think shake and eggs would work for you?
