I decided, via advice here and my own journal that my needed added fuel now (to maintain my weight at this good level ) will come from raw nuts, fresh fruit and vegetables.
I discovered the amount of fat in Brazil nuts yesterday when I was reading about their nutritional value. I had just bought a container of them to add a few to shakes or cereal along with other protein.
Each step of the way must be puzzled out. Nuts seem to suit my body. I remember eating loads of fresh walnuts and hazelnuts as a child and feeling energized.
