I can't believe how I used to skip breakfast, have a hasty lunch and then wait until late evening to really feast, sometimes right up until bedtime.
Breakfast was (and is )like an anchor for me. Today, after my big breakfast a friend and I shopped at a "big box" store. I could walk right by those towering stacks of candy , chips and cakes.
She told me how she fixes broccoli with garlic. I bought a huge bag for the freezer to parcel out as a side dish. It just feels better.
