joy dot: finding a hawk nest with three babies that I had somehow missed.
23 grams of sugar is a lot, no matter what it's coming from. I know dates and dried fruit would be too sweet for me. And the sugar free items at buffets are bound to be sweetened with something nasty. I think the general public's idea of sugar free is a bit different than mine - the stuff is still really sweet, just sweetened with nasty chemicals.

: Good answers from all of you . I
: don't like any scary chemicals in
: sugar free products either. I
: suppose I must assume that all of
: the sugar free desserts at a
: buffet would include some of those
: things. My journal shows reactions
: like rashes from Splenda and
: aspartame . .
: The sweetening ingredients in "
: healthy " bars seem to be
: dried fruit like dates or honey.
: One had ingredients listed as
: "all natural" ,dates,
: almonds and unsweetened
: cherries.That is 23 grams of
: sugars in just a different form.
: I like the idea of the baby food
: banana muffins.
