Issues eating solid foods in the morning (Day #32)

***Getting up before the alarm
***The vet calling and saying my dog did very well during surgery

First I have to say I felt so much better this morning. I am sure that yesterday was a day-four for me. I got up before the alarm today, which meant I had time to actually fix a breakfast (solid food) and sit down and eat it. Normally I have a shake and a brown. I made some oatmeal, 2 eggs with some cheese and a handful of nuts to up the protein to the right amount. I was looking forward to breakfast but I have such an issue in the mornings with a sensitive gage reflex. I want to eat the food but I have such a hard time getting it down. My gag reflex is so sensitive that I have to brush my teeth before I eat and not after. If I brush my teeth after, I will get sick. In the mornings my sinuses draining is enough to make me throw up – I work very hard at trying not to. Gagging on my food like that makes for a very anxious feeling and makes me feel uneasy. Does anyone else have this issue and what have you done to help it? It mainly happens in the mornings. Other times I have no issues with food unless I am not fond of the taste. In that case I have a very hard time getting it down. You would think I was eating something like they do on the show Fear Factor.
