Re: My son
In Response To: Re: My son ()

Hi Fiona

Thanks for your reply.

I typed up a rather large three page document to give to Social Services regarding my sons diet and this food plan, and I watched a documentary in the 1980's about violent male criminals in prison (little did I know then that it would be a relevant part of my life.) 99% of these prisoners had low serotonin when tested for the documentary, which of course makes total sense, with them having low impulse control. I mentioned this in the document I typed out, amongst other things, as violence is the main problem with my son.

I also mentioned in it how prisons would be a fantastic place to change peoples diets, especially the people who are in prison long term, they would come out being the people they had always suspected they were underneath. The results would be unbelievable. You never know who the information I gave them may be passed on to in the future.

Thanks again

Love

Jane

: Hi Kari and Jane,

: That is a wonderful post Kari, and
: what a life you have had. I really
: hope it turns out the same way for
: your son Jane. It is a really hard
: thing to go through as a parent.
: It would be great if government
: childrens' homes, hospitals,
: prisons, and other institutions
: would look at the effects of food
: on wellness and behaviour and make
: the changes.

: I read a book called Ten Years
: by Roseanne Catt a few years ago
: which was a true story about a
: woman wrongly prisoned for ten
: years in Australia and there was a
: short section where she was able
: to make some changes to how some
: of the inmates cooked and ate and
: how they felt and acted so much
: better. It is a really good read
: if anyone is interested.

: love
