Re: Shopping for food
In Response To: Shopping for food ()

It's slightly complicated here as I live with so many of the children too, some adult. However the essence for us is we order on line (and they have access to the on line account and password to add to the basket the foods they need) and then it is delivered to the house (hopefullywhen I am not here and someone else puts it away (the perfect working parent system - I hate shops and try never to enter one).

In terms of the foods on my own list I go to Favourites which is what we have ordered in the past and scroll down the 6 pages and add what I need. This includes
apples
oranges
brown basmati rice mixed with wild rice
kale
spinach
potato
lots of eggs (big family so order about 45 a week!)
bacon
one piece of beef steak - grass reared
4 pieces of salmon
tins of tuna,
tins of smoked oysters
sometimes almonds
olive oil when needed
4 corn on the cob
two swede/turnips
carrots
bluberries
raspberries
3 large onions

I don't eat any processed foods really. I lost the taste for them
I don't eat dairy except a bit of butter but we have a traditional English milkman who delivers milk to the door most days which some of the children use.
