Hi Dawn,
Steel cut oats-cooked and mixed with with protein powder, peanut butter, banana
Instant oats-added to shake
brown rice, wild rice
sweet potatoes
potatoes with skin
wild rice cakes with nut butter
black beans--soup, spread, chili, in burgers
hummus-or chick peas, in salads
quinoa
I cook for someone gluten-free, and we've found that the oats don't have to say "gluten-free."
Regular ones are much cheaper. Oats themselves have no gluten-they say "gluten free" because
that way they're guaranteed not to be processed with other products with gluten.
