Today's joy dot. Just had to share because it made me so happy. I got a birthday card in the mail from my ex-mother-in-law. Even though her son and I have don't been together for about 7 years, I always get a birthday card from her each year and it is always the first to arrive. I did not realized how much I looked forward to it until this year. Every day this week when I went to the mail box I was expecting to see it. Hoping to see it. Today it arrived. She always writes a letter in there. Getting that card from her really warmed my heart. Made me so happy it brought tears to my eyes. It just means a lot to me that even through my relationship with her son did not last (we are still on good terms) she has chosen to keep my in her thoughts. It really touches me.
