Hello Lori,
It might be the fact that your protein level is on the light side. One egg is only about 6 grams of protein. To find the right amount for breakfast, take your weight (up to 250) and divide it by 6 and that is what your protein levels should be for breakfast.
Also I know for me if I were to eat cheerios with breakfast I would have that same reaction that you are having.
