I am committing to within the hour,
and have made an important discovery,
(though it's really quite self-evident...)
I have recently posted about having fallen off the 'within the hour' wagon.
And I have also written about spending many sedentary hours on the computer.
Well this morning I understood that they are very much connected.
Yesterday I was in the kitchen cooking and then in the early evening, I painted our deck for three hours. By bedtime, I was very tired - a "healthy" tired that signifies energy well spent.
This morning about half an hour after I got up, I felt really hungry.
I haven't felt that in a long time.
Point is, the "sedentary track" makes me feel not hungry for breakfast.
So BF is late, and then lunch and dinner are late too.
And though the content of my meals is spot on, I'm in a slump and don't feel much like doing anything.
In contrast, the "active track" makes me hungry for BF within the hour, and lunch and dinner should then be on time as well.
I suspect this will have a positive effect on "the slumps".
Feeling less slumpy should make me more inclined for some activity.
And more activity should help make tomorrow's BF within the hour as well.
Seems like 'activity' and 'within the hour' are closely linked.
In view of this discovery, I understand I must commit to
within the hour AND more activity.
These two components will support each other,
and if I support the both of them, they will in turn support me
