Today I again, like yesterday, ate breakfast on my porch. It felt good. I had a very productive day at work. All my meal timings where spot on. Journal is still silent. Today I had a vet appointment for my oldest dog. So I had to leave early from work. But came back around 4:30. I had dropped my dog off at the house. Made sure both dogs were taken care of. Changed into jeans, t-shirt and flip-flops and headed back to work; with dinner in hand. I have been training someone to be my back up but training takes focus from other things at work so I wanted to get caught up on stuff. I don’t make it a habit to stay at work late (not this late – left there at 9:00 at night so that makes for a very long day). But I made sure I ate my dinner at 5:30 just like I would do at home and made sure to eat it (not pick at it as I worked) and I ate it all. I did not feel scattered or drained like most days I stare at a computer screen all day. I actually felt good. Makes a huge difference when your meal timings are good. And you eat good food. I am hourly so I will be able to leave early on Friday.
Kathleen has asked that I spend some time over at the step three group. I will try to do that as well. But still would like to post here. But if it gets to be too much – two places – than I will have to work with the step three group (Kathleen has never steered me wrong). Connecting with you all makes me feel good and makes me feel at home. This is where I have posted since I started over three years ago. This is where I feel my home is. So we will see how this goes. The layout of the other groups is very difficult for me and I think that is why I started here but it was all of you and your support that kept me here. Thank you Everyone!
