Very good.
I was in Northern Spain from the UK for work earlier this year at a company. It was someone's birthday. I noticed that the food they had brought in which was offered was gorgeous spanish omlet (omlet, with veg, potato etc). It felt like being on a different planet from UK/US at the place and outside on the streets where people ran and everyone seemed the weights we were in the UK/US in about 1940. The culture that you have to have cakes at work and sweets as reward is so hard to break once established.
: Hi Kari
: Well done for not falling for the
: donuts.
: I don't know if you have food at work
: that you could eat, but in this
: situation that you mention where
: things pop up unexpectedly,
: perhaps you could arrange a snack
: that needs no cooking, etc, and
: have it on one side of your desk
: sat next to you whilst you sort
: out your work, and grab bites in
: between doing work.
: I think that is what I would aim to
: do in that sort of situation, or
: maybe take an extra sandwich or
: something each day just in case?
: And eat that at the 5 hour mark if
: possible?
: Hope that helps
: Love
