Joy dot: an egret flying over the woods to land near a pond

Hi Sherri
Good for you for taking it nice and slow - it is the best way to succeed with the program. You can gradually move your breakfast up until it's within the hour. I've always been one of those people who wakes up hungry and eats soon after getting up, but I know a lot of people aren't used to doing that. But waking up hungry is a sign that your body is moving in the right direction.

: I have been following the protein
: guideline and having breakfast
: every day for about a week now. I
: haven't mastered it, though,
: because I can't seem to eat until
: I've been awake for an hour and a
: half to two hours. This morning I
: awoke hungry, a good sign, but I
: still put off eating for a while
: for some weird reason. Tomorrow I
: am committing to breakfast within
: the first hour.

: I bought PNP a year or two ago and
: have tried to follow the steps a
: number of times. Admittedly, and
: kind of embarrassed to do so, I
: -of course- tried to get through
: the steps too fast. Like a typical
: sugar sensitive person, I was in a
: hurry to "get over this"
: and be happy and healthy. This
: time I am going to be patient and
: loving with myself, and go through
: the steps slowly, one at a time,
: until I master each one. No time
: limit.

: Thank you for your support. :h11)
