Thanks so much for your help, JoEllen. I have been off sugar now for a few weeks and am just now starting back into the running. What types of protein/carb snacks do you eat? I also have to be gluten and dairy free, so there are a couple extra challenges. Great idea to time the run to end near a meal. I'll give it a try!
