Interesting morning – I was told yesterday to grab a dozen donuts for a meeting they were having this morning. So this morning as I got in my car with shake and toast in hand, I would have forgotten to pick them up was it not for the bright blue sticky note that said ‘Dozen Donuts’ stuck to the dash of my car. Sometimes we need to leave ourselves notes. Well I got to the store and was standing there looking at this whole wall of fresh baked donuts thinking what should I get for people, what will they eat. I had no idea what to get because they all looked disgusting. It is interesting how in the morning that type of stuff does nothing for me. It does not call to me at all. During lunch hour is a different story. Someday that too will be like the morning. It was at one time and it will be that way again.

Lunch was on time. Dinner was late. Got sucked into a project at work. Someone dropped off $10,000 worth of receipts (little meal receipts so there were tons) and needed me to organize them all and get them put into an expense report. So I wanted to wrap that all up because I have lots of other things going on at work. Dinner was at the 7-hour mark, and two hours later than normal. When I was wrapping things up at work my brain was singing and not in the good way. I guess it was more like buzzing.

I did end up going for a sweet in the middle of the day in-between lunch and dinner.

Well it is late and I need to get ready for tomorrow.
