I've been doing the program for about a month now and have just started on step 3. I am also taking an medium dose anti-depressant that I have been on for over a year, I am not able to function well without it and it normally works very well for me.
Last week I had a couple of stressful situations in work that although would normally bother me for a very short while, have stayed with me well into this week, causing problems with sleep and I'm also feeling down for the first time in ages. This is really unusual as my medication has always stopped my brain from over-reacting to such incidents. I am drinking too much in the evenings (this is usual unfortunately), although I am waiting until I have food.
Anyone any ideas? I would think that the program didn't work for me but am determined to continue due to the positive results so many people have had.
Am I expecting too much? Perhaps it doesn't work with my medication - a serotonin re-uptake inhibitor.. I don't know what to do other than keep going
