Hi Eryka,

You sound just like me a couple of years back. I certainly binged on anything in sight. Did you know that "white foods" (pizza, white bread, croissants, potato chips...) can have the same effect on the body as sugary foods? That was a big ah-hah! moment for me...

The program helped me a lot with bingeing - I can't recall the last time I did. I always want to know every why and wherefore, so reading Potato Not Prozac was quite helpful to me. Kathleen explains the science very clearly. I'd say give it a chance. :h10)

As to breakfast - it's the first step of this food program. It's awesome that you already eat breakfast every day. That means this step will probably be easier for you. Breakfast has four parts:
1) eat enough protein for your weight (I weight 140 pounds, so I need 23g, like 3 eggs and some cheese. Do you know how to calculate this?)
2) eat a complex carb (I had a half cup of oatmeal that I cooked and ate with strawberries. Yum!)
3) eat within an hour of waking (That part is hard for me. I ate 35 minutes after getting up.)
4) do it every day (Without fail! I love breakfast!)

Would you say you have any of these parts down?
