funny you should say that, about sugar - I dont like sugar all that much, never had a sweet tooth. Though it has the same effect on me regardless! :s6(

I always went for savoury foods, bread, casseroles that had wine in it, heavy dense carbohydrate, hidden sugars and savoury sauces dips and dressings, all sorts.... so yes, any food its just when I look closely they have white things ( flour, rice for eg) or sugar in them

theres also a list here that might interest you, the Recovery list. you 'll find it via Make Connections , top left. people who wish to work with their recovery from alcohol. :h10)

: What are my thoughts on
: breakfast....well, I usually
: always eat breakfast, cereal or
: chocolate packaged mini donuts.
: That's probably bad huh? I can
: pick up the book if it will help

if you are like me, reading the book will knock your socks off because every page was an aha! moment for me that explained such a lot. a real comfort actually as well as informative.

Breakfast - looking at breakfast is a great start... if you like cereal that may be a good starting point, find a brown ( ie cereal) that you like ? cheerios for instance are whole grain... its not about 'giving things up', just finding the abundance of good things :h11) see what you think about breakfast protein and brown and hopefully you can share your ideas with us ?
