Hi, Sandy!
I am sugar sensitive and have been doing this for 9 years. My 15 year old daughter is not sugar sensitive in the least. You wrote that you filled up your pillowcase twice on Halloween, yes? Every year about 4 or 5 months after Halloween I have to throw out nearly an entire grocery bag full of candy because my daughter's just not interested in it beyond the fun of getting it. She will have about 10-15 pieces that she likes over the course of that time and then just lose interest.
And when she was really little she would pick out the pretty candy that light would shine through (like, Life Savers) and she would put them on her windowsill because light would shine through them and she thought it looked pretty.
Anyhoo, it sounds like you're a good ol' sugar-sensitive, like me!
Do the food, you won't beLIEVE the journey you will go on.
Cheers,
sky
