Re: What step am I on? (Food portions)

Hi Jeffrey,

I really don't know exactly what dropped the weight the first time around. I know that isn't really helpful, but there were a few factors and I don't know which one or if it was all of them together that did it. I had been sugar and coffee free for almost six months and by doing the Steps maybe my body had healed enough for it to stop hanging on to the weight and it just came off. I was going through a stressful time (but that hadn't helped me lose weight before).

I think it is different for everyone. Maybe if we have tended to limit food in the past ... and then by going through the Steps we actually give our body enough food ... maybe it hangs on to it because it thinks it needs to store for the next lean time. Then as we keep being consistent and giving our body enough it comes to trust that we will always eat enough and stops "storing" extra for the lean times???

I am hoping that I don't put on any more weight and that what I have will come off really easily.

I will post what happens.

Happy day
Fiona

: This is interesting Fiona. I never

: my binges. You are right though. I
: feel stable when I eat the browns
