Re: Im new

Hi there,

I would like to encourage you to to go through the steps. I have a son with Aspergers and we tried many diets (most that didn't seem to make a lot of difference). I read Potatoes Not Prozac and we started Step 1 on Jan 1 ,2009 when he was 14. We went through all the Steps and it made the biggest difference. It really brought it home to me that it was the sugar that was the worst culprit. We had a few really great months with him and then I slipped up and that was the end of it. I really regret that and I am trying not to feel sad and guilty because now he is 17 and totally into all kinds of bad food and he isn't doing well at all. The fish oil seemed to work better for him when he was eating at Step 7 too.

I will be really interested in how you feel as you progress through Steps. Please keep in touch.
