Mango is a very sugar dense fruit. Whether it is *too much* totally depends where you are in the program :h4)
If you don't ever have sugars, like JoEllen, it will knock your socks off. If you are just starting and have things like hot fudge sundaes, you probably would be fine. The key is not the morning energy surge, but what happens after that.
