snack before bed

Hi everyone,
I am on step two after feeling consistent on step one.

I am discovering many things about myself, one of them being that I am hungry at night 4 hours after dinner and usually have a snack. I have been having various snacks, not high sugar because it gets me too wired but wondered if there were any suggestions. I am not on step 3 but gravitate toward eating that way naturally. I am not focusing on getting the right amount of protein or perfect timing yet, nor should I be at this stage. I know that the potato is too early but though maybe some of you have found particular snacks good before bed.

I have had whole grain english muffins, wasa crackers, an apple. Would a sweet potato be ok? I was on low-carb for so long, a brown before bed is comforting and actually a treat.
I actually have eaten browns for a long time and love them.
