Good for you. It is very important to let your body heal. And sometimes that just takes time. I had that attitude about sugar. I didn't take it out. I just keep doing the steps knowing believing I would no longer need/crave it. And that is what happened. One day I woke up was reading journal and realized I had not had sugar for over two weeks. I was detoxed and was no big deal.
