Yes, Colette, you've hit it on the nail.
I do enjoy being active, but I have a very hard time initiating that activity.
This last stint in April was initiated by my hubby, who said, hey let's invite these guys and those folks for the holiday (when I had been thinking we'd be guests at someone else's home).
In the summer, I get bored and don't do what it takes to create activities and fields of interest for myself. I have a tendency to get into a slump and do the same-same every day, basically waiting for the hectic school year to start again.
What a crying shame and waste!!
There are people who would kill to have a long vacation like mine.
I'm eleven months into the program,
and it's definitely time to feel radiant enough
to rev up my butt and plan how I will spend my upcoming freedom
in a way that's advantageous to me.
Thanks for putting into words what I know deep down inside - I need a creative and social outlet........a bit of Step 7, lol.
Not my strong point at all.
And now for a bit of mulling over some options.....
Sarit
: Hi Sarit,
: It's good to hear from you!
: Oh my...yes, you have had a lot of
: stacking! And how great that you
: have thought about it...learned
: from it. So sorry to hear about
: the loss of your precious one.
: You've done a great job coming back.
: You seem to enjoy being very
: active. I'm wondering if taking a
: class or having something to look
: forward to this summer would be
: helpful. Down time is great, but
: do you need some kind of creative
: outlet...or social outlet?
