There are two ways the program helps with anxiety. One is by creating steady blood sugar. Low blood sugar can cause anxiety. The other is by raising serotonin. That happens on step 4.

We generally recommend that people stay on their anti depressants until they are steady on step 6 before trying any taper. That way, you have the program in place to keep you steady.

Have you started step 1 yet? Have you found a breakfast you like? Step 1 really helped me, because when I was eating an all carb breakfast, my blood sugar would be crashing a few hours later. Adding protein really helped.
