I like your term " doldrum week " and will use it to describe some of my days and weeks.
Sorry about the loss of your dear animal friend.You had some tough times.
It is fascinating to me that none of the steps were ever really lost to you despite enormous challenges.
You still see the right pathways and the time and planning it will take to get back to those ways.
Last night a tornado warning and gale force winds uprooted a neighbor's gigantic tree and it fell on two houses whilst hailstones the size of baseballs rained down.
Old me would have definitely "deserved " a sugary treat or two after picking up branches and debris and the remains of my container plants. New me remembered that I was tired and the best thing was to " batten down the hatches" and go to bed with a book.
Now what would be the opposite of a doldrum week ? Hopeful weeks ? I hope you have many of them .
