Kiki,
One of the programs that I did before RR focused on not eating until hungry, but I couldn't sustain that way of eating. When I found out, through this program, about steady blood sugar, it made sense. I am much more calm and peaceful eating this way. For me, when I feel hunger, I'm usually falling off the cliff...having my blood sugar crash. It is much better for me if I eat at set times and eat set amounts.
Sometimes I don't have much of an appetite, especially if I am stressed. If I go ahead and eat...again at set times and set amounts, it really does help.
Allison gave a great explanation about craving fat when we reduce sugar. Did you see that post?

: I think you're right Colette,
: sometimes I just don't have
: appetite so either I don't eat
: enough at one meal, or too many
: hours pass. I guess my body and
: stomach are still re-learning a
: lot of cues and such! It's
: discomfort at times, but my goal
: is to stick to a structured plan
: of eating at set times a day.
: Sometimes I'm hesitant to eat if I
: don't have appetite...what are
: your thoughts?
: Strange...why do we crave more fat if
: we are reducing our sugar intake?
