Re: Peanut butter vs. peanuts?

I think you're right Colette, sometimes I just don't have appetite so either I don't eat enough at one meal, or too many hours pass. I guess my body and stomach are still re-learning a lot of cues and such! It's discomfort at times, but my goal is to stick to a structured plan of eating at set times a day. Sometimes I'm hesitant to eat if I don't have appetite...what are your thoughts?

Strange...why do we crave more fat if we are reducing our sugar intake?

: Hi Kiki,

: I am able to buy peanut butter
: without any salt or sugar at my
: health food store. Many of us find
: that after giving up sugar, our
: craving for fat increases. If
: you're trying to take out the
: sugar too quickly, the high fat
: might be replacing some of the
: sugar craving. This happened to
: me, but has stabilized over time.
: And the cholesterol thing is
: interesting...google sugar and
: cholesterol and see what you find!

: How are meals going? I find if I'm
: not getting enough at meals, or
: not eating on time, it can
: contribute to cravings.
