xylitol

I am using xylitol mints and gum in an effort to get control of some issues with my teeth and gums as recommended by Dr. Ellie Phillips. She suggests 6.5 - 10 grams per day, esp. after meals. Just wondering if that is going to throw off the whole chemistry of what I'm trying to do with the radiant recovery program. It doesn't seem to make me crave sugar more - in fact it seems to have the opposite effect.
