I am new to doing PFP (on week 2) and am on step one. I really don't eat any sugar due to the last few years of following an eating plan....but right now my focus is on step one.
My question is, since adding protein to breakfast (and lunch and dinner) I have been feeling really tired after I eat, sort of weak and low energy. Is this normal? are there ways to combat this? I also am eating a ton more food at each meal and feel ravenous before I eat.
I think I am doing a good job of eating a balance of brown/green carbs and protein. (I don't eat any processed flour and am Gluten free due to allergies, so all my carbs are in their whole form ei: oats, brown rice, quinoa etc...)
Is the exhaustion just a result of adding the extra protein? and does anybody have any suggestions for fixing it?
