Hi guys,
I just wanted to throw this out there for anyone it might help out... probably those more "tech" oriented.
My food journal, Kindle and iPad make a heavy purse and mild anxiety over having my journal lost or my privacy compromised absentmindedly leaving it somewhere after use. But I didn't feel it would be as simple for me to discover patterns and reflect using my online journal platform-- I love old-fashioned paper for this process! So here's a solution that is working out really well for me-- when I'm out, I simply use a single note, sticky or plain, that I affix to my journal that night or I sometimes voice-record entries on my phone and write them into my physical journal that evening as part of my bedtime routine. This only takes a couple minutes. Iphone users can use their basic Voice-Recorder or consider the free Dictation app which could be very useful if you do happen to maintain your food journal electronically since it does the typing for you, then just 'copy' the text to your journal.
This method is far more safe for me and lightweight.
