For those of you farther along in the program, say steps 5-7, what tidbits of information from the book or out of your own experience have really helped you (1) keep perspective and (2)gain enough courage to pick up the pieces and try again after falling off from the program (assuming this has ever happened to you)?
I feel I lost my bearings and the benefits that helped me stay the course before don't seem nearly as motivating this time around... I think most of that is upregulation that has my receptors "singing" for sugar, after me being totally off sugar for weeks. So I don't know if I should continue to look to those benefits until the spark hits again? or maybe I can only expect that it's just going to be much harder this time and biting the bit hard is the only way to begin again? Any things that helped you ease back into the steps after a diversion would be helpful to share.
Thank you.
