Hi Janelle. Welcome!

Before thinking about cutting out any more foods, it's a good idea to look at whether you are eating enough food. And I actually find that my blood sugar crashes faster without complex carbs.

Have you looked at breakfast? Do you know how to figure out how much protein you need for breakfast, and how much your kids need? What have you been eating for breakfast? Are you eating it within an hour of getting up? I would start there.
