You're right - I still feel like I have to accomplish all 7 steps right now and be forever rid of the sugar addiction/cravings. I realize now, that the steps have to be followed!
I can't help but feel frustrate with myself. It's April 16th..rather 17th now...I told myself I will commit to this plan of recovery from sugar, starting April 1. But I am still on step 1! it's not the difficulty of the step itself, its just making it regular - having myself eat protein/carb and an actual breakfast instead of grabbing biscuits and a mocha for example!
: this is going to sound a bit odd, but
: the thing is I think, to divert
: that energy on to your step. I
: used to spend so much time
: worrying about other things
: instead of my step. It diluted my
: step a bit. Most of the time I was
: worrying about step 4 and 6
: instead of doing 1.
: So if you are doing step 1, you could
: have frozen yogurt for breakfast
: if you like, just do the 4 parts
: of breakfast. Or later in the day
: is fine. Just breakfast
: if step 2, write it in journal
: step 3, move it to mealtime
: and so on
: step 7 for me means I dont get
: attracted to ice cream, but I
: always have a play on holiday
: concocting an ice cream out of
: whatever is available. Its a
: challenge and I have even made ice
: cream ( sort of!) with a plastic
: tub and a fork! ( Arm ache )
: Its really fun! my most succesful is
: making a custard from egg and
: greek yogurt, and I'll have a
: batch to have with my lunch.
