It sounds like you are already crashing when you get home. If I were in that situation, I would try to have a dinner of some sort instead of a snack at work, and then if I thought I needed food when I got home, I'd have a cheese stick and complex carb, maybe wrap the cheese stick in a whole wheat tortilla and heat it up in the microwave.
