It wouldn't work for me. In fact at first I had to have a little more protein to heal. This really isn't a lot of protein. Right now you only have to get in the proper amount of protein for breakfast as that is the step you are on. 28 grams is like 2 eggs and a sausage patty. Or about a cup of cottage cheese. Or a small chicken breast. Or 2 scoops of protein powder in shake. Ease into it if it feels like to much at first. But yes you will want/need this amount to heal.
