Hi guys, still trying to make Step 1 a regular part of my life, and feel more natural too...although not sure how long it will take. It's still kind of bla-feeling to eat first thing upon rising, so weird...like, kids do it all the time so why is this so hard for me? I mean I'm not ancient lol, 27 yrs...but in comparison i feel like I ought to know better. *sigh*
Anyway, a few things I was hoping to clear up, that I read:
1. It says that nuts are a good source for the protein component. Does this include coconut? It's hard knowing all the different 'categories' of nuts. I ask because I'm allergic to most all tree nuts. I do fine with coconut though, and chestnuts although these seem to be less protein and more carb.
SO I was thinking perhaps coconut yogort, or even the actual coconut meat, a few pieces cut up?
2. I see that beans are listed both for the protein and complex carb - so just having say, a serving of any bean would meet both of these parts for b-fast?
3. I realize that the night potato is a step I'm not yet ready for...but on here, it does mention potatoes with skin as a complex carb. so I could have say, a serving of potato or yam, or sweet potato with skin for breakfast?
