Food / Mood correlation?

I'd like to know if anyone has experienced being strangely 'over'emotional if they have too much sugar and not enough maybe, of other nutrients or vitamins...not sure, but I find sometimes I am just insanely emotional, I could cry so easily over anything!

And I don't think it's fair lol, to just blame it all on PMS.

I want to have a more positive frame of mind. I'm not clinically depressed, but I find that I'm just very prone to these moods and anxiety, thinking and worrying too much. Could certain food or drink eliminate these toxic feelings?
