Today, my daughter and I found a white rabbit hopping down the sidewalk. We tried to pick him up, tried to keep him from going in the street. Others stopped their cars and helped us. Together, we got him to safety, and I was able to track down the owner, who was so worried. I was so touched by this little dramatic interlude in our day: the day before Easter, the white rabbit with his dirty paws, how he relaxed utterly once he was held, how we humans all got very excited and helpful and kind to one another, how the woman and her kids were so glad to have their bunny back: wow, I just felt very blessed. Happy Easter, Passover, Spring to all.
