I think Stevia is better than any of the artificial sweeteners. Molasses isn't really any better than sugar - I think it's just sugar prepared a different way.

But, there's no reason to switch from sugar to something else right now. You could slowly use less in your coffee or tea. And as you go through the steps, your sweetened cup of beverage gets treated as sugar, so it would be with a meal on step 3.

I actually found that I like tea and coffee better without sugar while I was still using sugar.
