I reminded myself, when I was starting the steps, how long I had been abusing my body by not giving her the right food. If I had been out of balance for 26 years, I couldn't expect to heal overnight. And fortunately, the body heals much faster than the amount of time we have been abusing her. And there is progress along the way.
