It was a puzzlement for me at times with many breakthroughs of understanding along the way .
I didn't find it easy, but I trusted people who had gone ahead and made it through and just kept at it( am keeping at it , I should say ) with the help of this forum and what I call "live" support here at home .
I found the understanding came later after I plodded through the first two steps and didn't like what I saw in my food journal .
I couldn't believe how I centered my life around food. When I wrote it all down , every bite and saw how it made me feel (way too many Tums, those big empty chip bags ) I just plodded on ahead to change that.
I liked the tiny improvements , then the bigger ones as I gained confidence.
