Yes, I understand about trying to do a lot at once!
Actually, if you do the steps slowly, it is amazing the way the cravings go away. I had tried all my life to give up sugar, and it just never worked. When I started doing this program, my focus was on healing my depression. I didn't believe my cravings would ever go away, but if the depression went away, I would be thankful. Well, by doing this program, I don't have those cravings anymore...I just don't struggle with them, and it feels miraculous every day!
When I started, I had a hard time eating in the morning too. For me, I had volatile blood sugar, and I think I woke already in a blood sugar crash, so wasn't hungry. After step 3 became steady, I noticed a big difference, and breakfast wasn't quite so hard anymore.
Shakes might be a great option for you! That's what I had for breakfast when I first started. Shakes are easy to make...and fairly easy to get down in the morning. You can add fruit, cottage cheese, peanut butter...there are lots of thing to add to make a shake you love.
Have fun exploring, and don't worry about the cravings for now. See if you can put that energy into an enjoyable breakfast.

: You are right - I try to do a lot at
: once, because I'm so anxious to
: get rid of my sugar cravings!
: I thought that cold-turkey giving up
: the foods that have lots of sugar
: was the only way to get rid of
: these cravings!
: I don't have good appetite in the
: morning, maybe because I eat late
: at night? Do you guys suggest I
: work on trying to eat in the
: morning and have my last meal
: earlier in the day (no later than
: 7 or 8 pm?) It's terrible habit I
: know...I usually find myself with
: hunger around 10 pm, and then I
: always want something like cereal,
: cookies, brownies...
: The worst part is I tell myself I'll
: be better tomorrow...and the next
: day...I have to break the cycle
: but it's so hard knowing how!
: But in terms of breakfast, the idea
: of eating first thing in the
: morning is tough and makes me feel
: a bit sick, as I'm not use to
: eating early. The best I could do
: is probably a cup of plain organic
: yogurt, like those individual
: servings they sell at the
: supermarkets.
: Again any advice/suggestions would be
: great! Just fyi, I am vegetarian
: so I'm trying to use more nonfat
: milk and yogurt as protein
: sources.
