i am still having
: breakfast everyday within an hour
: with protein and a brown, but not
: journalling .
well thats great news! keeping track of breakfast with all the toddler - busyness. I remember those days .
I am also
: breastfeeding a toddler, so i
: recently went over to the
: breastfeeding group and Kathleen
: suggested more browns. I tryed to
: increase my browns and i felt sick
: from to much food.
Im thinking back a good few years now but I remember trying to diet when breastfeeding, twice, and I put on a ton of weight, so that didnt work and I felt a bit let down. I am reminded though about what happened with my second run through of breakfast when I tried different things.
I liked to do the same thing, but it was a bit rigid. Eventually I tried different things. Oats IN the shake instead of seperate ( liked that) I like shake thick too, almonst like how people sometimes put shake in the oats - I think that volume suits me
and I do thrive on different browns for breakfast as well. Buckwheat's good, and I like sweet potato wedges or mashed. With a small shake on the side the volume is then much less. If I have too much I dont feel 'too much' but I get heartburn instead. So playing a bit gets to be fun or ' layering ' the brown, stacking it, beans with a pancake wrap ( or an oatcake)
always a fan of cottage cheese pancakes too they are great for protein/ brown... and good for a mid morning snack as well
what sort of ideas do you have?
