Yam Cakes
I just made my first yam cakes.
They're quite good, but I have a question - are they supposed to be soft-ish?
I thought they would come out dryer, more chewy, but they are pretty soft.
I used 4 cooked yams, an equal amount of oatmeal (the more finely cut kind),
some oil and some water (didn't measure - just added a bit, then a bit more).
If I use less water next time, I wonder if the oatmeal will get properly baked
or if it will stay a bit undone (I need my food to be well-done.)
Thoughts?
