Hi
my names Cathy a few weeks ago i was ready to start step 3. I had completed the breakfast class and the journaling and it was going really well. i am still having breakfast everyday within an hour with protein and a brown, but not journalling . I am also breastfeeding a toddler, so i recently went over to the breastfeeding group and Kathleen suggested more browns. I tryed to increase my browns and i felt sick from to much food.
I have been trying to get steady for along time know and it just hasn't happened, i think i don't eat enough. When Kathleen suggested more browns i went away and thought i don't need that much food, how could i possible eat that much, how can any ones body need that much food?
You know i sit at home and try to work out what i need to do, i need to let go of trying to control this. I'm am just so fearful of getting fatter, i have put on 12 kgs since having my baby and it really scares me.
So i will just post my breakfast
300ml oat milk
4og pure whey isolate (38g) protein
1/2 cup (dry weight) steel cut oats
natural yogurt
blueberrie
walnuts
I really struggle to eat in the morning i feel sick. I don't normally finsh all the oats.
I guess my question is am i having enough protein? When i did the breakfast class i started using .6g of protein per pound of body weight,but i seen over at the pregnancy group they suggest .8 to 1g protein per pound of body weight. Not sure what i should do.
also how do you know if your having enough browns, and how do i add more browns if you are already really full after breakfast.
